In 1959, some soldiers from the regional army of the British state of Wales designed a weekend training unit set up on the Cambrian Hills in Wales. Which consisted of long distance marching. In August 1960, Major General Lewis Pugh of the British Army named the exercise the Cambrian Patrol. And over time, that is likely to change. Until 2005, only the regional army took part in the exercise.
In 2006, armies from several other countries, including Pakistan, India and France, took part in the exercise. And now the number of countries participating in the exercise has reached 140.
That includes Israel and the United States. This exercise lasts for 9 to 10 days. There are 8 different stages for each team in these exercises. And there are 8 soldiers in each team or in each country's contingent. Each soldier travels 50 or 80 kilometers with full military equipment. This is the most difficult journey to carry a weight of 35 kg.
this journey has to be completed in 48 hours. In it you can neither sleep nor rest. And for this trip only 2 liters of water and a little food is given. This route consists of forests, hills and deserts. This exercise not only involves walking but also takes 8 difficult and different tests.
